Hi. Live Journal is new to me. Fandom is not. It all started when I was in the eighth grade and caught my first X-Files episode. And I fell in love. With TV, with Mulder & Scully, with a 'ship. It's been a long-running love affair since then, ebbs and flows, especially with other shows (Alias, The West Wing, Friday Night Lights, Grey's Anatomy, Battlestar Galactica) but now Bones has pretty much supplanted all that preceeded.
As a writer my goal is to delve into the fanfic world (hey, it worked for Stephanie Meyer--I mean, come on, Twilight was essentially one big vampire fic). I wrote one piece, once, a long time ago, for The X-Files. And if I can dredge it up, maybe I'll repost it here. Otherwise, my plan is to get inspired by Bones, or at least by some of the brilliant Bones fic I read by others. Speaking of, I've got a reasonably extensive list of favorite stories and authors on my ff.net page, so check it out.
Until then, I appreciate any and all helpful Live Journal user tips.
